Trend LOCK/JIG Lock Jig

This new jig uses a set of interchangeable templates and with a router will cut the mortise and face-plate recess for popular door locks.

The jig requires a router fitted with a 30mm guide bush and 12mm diameter long reach cutter.

For most common sash mortise and dead locks, with up to 2 1/2" deep mortises and a 7/8" or 1" face-plate.

Deeper mortises can be achieved with a suitable size of auger bit.

Also suits face-plate on a 1" mortise latch.

Fast, clean and accurate results, even in hardwood and doors with knots.

Mortise dimensions:
These are maximum mortise lengths, unless radius ends are squared with a Corner Chisel. However smaller mortise locks can be accommodated depending on position of their fixing screws.
